About NPC
Since the company was founded in 1939, Nippon Precision Casting Corp. (NPC) has accumulated trials and experiences to become one of the world-leading special precision casting manufacturers.

NPC has been changing dramatically over the past several years.  NPC, which has the foundry expertise to manufacture large-sized precision castings greater than 1m x 1m and lightweight aluminum alloy castings with extremely high strength, has already earned the trust of domestic and overseas aerospace manufacturers such as Boeing (U.S.A.), Bombardier (Canada), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Japan) and Kawasaki Heavy Industries (Japan).

Certifications
NPC has been qualified for International Aerospace Quality Standard 9100:2004 on its quality control system in 2006.  Furthermore, it has obtained Nadcap certifications for welding, non-destructive testing and heat treating processes.
Nadcap
NPC continues its effort to grow and develop itself to establish firm standing in the industry.  It also contributes to the society by providing products based on superior technology and reliability.

History

1939 The company established as "Nippon Jishaku Kogyo" (= Japan Magnet Manufacturing) Co., Ltd.
1953 Alnico (Al-Ni-Co) cast magnet production started.
1955 Lost-wax precision casting process completed.
1970 The company name changed to Nippon Precision Casting Corp.
  Technical tie-up with Rex Precision Products, Inc., (USA).
  Aluminum alloys manufacturing technology for aircraft and the large steel castings established.
1984 Magnesium alloys precision casting technology established.
  Aluminum and magnesium alloys processes approved by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.
1985 Aluminum alloy process approved by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
1991 Steel and aluminum alloys processes approved by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
  Aluminum alloy process approved by the Boeing Company.
1992 Vacuum casting equipment installed.
1994 Aluminum alloy process approved by Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd.
1995 Aluminum alloy process approved by Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
1996 Chiba factory completed.
2002 Steel alloy process approved by the Boeing Company.
2006 JISQ9100 (Quality Management System for the aerospace industry) certification.
  Quality Management System approved by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
  Quality Management System approved by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.
  Nadcap certification for the welding.
  A branch office in Nagoya City located.
  Nadcap certification for nondestructive testing.
  Nadcap certification for the heat treating.
